Do you like Instagram stories? And you wonder why you do not have so much view or engagement? Here are common Instagram stories mistakes you should avoid
Story Size. Make sure you have the right size if you are posting artwork or image was taken vertical and not horizontal 1920x1080px
Add text to stories. Instagram automatically mutes stories, and some of your audiences are at work when they are checking their Instagram. Hence their mobiles are silent this is why you should add text to your stories where if you are saying something it is capture into small insights, so your audience know what you are talking about.
Sticker and poll positioning. Make sure to position your poll in the centre, not too big or too small ensuring it is not near the edge of the screen as this is where they click to skip and even though they want to engage they won’t be able to cause every time they want to tap skip! As for any sticker you are using make sure it doesn’t overlap any essential element of your story during the 15sec of it such as your face or your colleagues face etc.
Add Hashtags. We know most of us to want to add hashtags as they are looking for higher visibility and hoping to show on that relevant feed, but as some don’t like to show that commercial side tends to make their hashtags very small which Instagram cannot see, and they lose their purpose. To hide hashtags, you can easily overlap them with a sticker keeping the right size for Instagram to be able to identify them or if you are writing a text make it with the same colour of the background you chose et voilà! Tag people to reshare. If you want certain people to reshare your story, make sure to tag them in every single story if it was a thread so they are aware of your post and can easily do when they receive notifications.
