Use of Jargons
There is a big difference between being smart and sounding smart. The use of your industry jargon will make you look smart indeed but will also make you lose your audience attention as some will not grasp what you are talking about. Keep it simple when writing, think that you are talking to kids and want them to understand without needing to hold a dictionary for every word you use.
Boring Topic
Before you write, listen! Listen to what others are talking about, listen to what others are engaging with. What is the hottest topic that is having a lot of interaction, an example “recruitment and job search”. Tackle topics that are of interest to others, not you while bearing in mind no copy-pasting!
